Marjaavaan posters creates intrigue

Ever since the news of Siddharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh ‘Marjaavaan’ was announced, fans have been eagerly awaiting for their look. With the posters revealed today the intrigue around the film has gone up notches.

With the news of Riteish essaying a dwarf’s character, the wait for his look was highly anticipated and boy the poster doesn’t disappoint. Apart from the interesting first looks, quirky captions, what caught everyone eye is the tall figure of Ravaana in the background which leaves a lot of unanswered questions about the film and characters?

Produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani’s Emmay Entertainment, the film is directed by Milap Zaveri. Starring Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh, Rakul Preet Singh and Tara Sutaria the movie will release on November 22.

Actor RiteishDeshmukh is all set to play a villain once again in MilapZaveri'sMarjaavaan. Produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Emmay Entertainment’s MonishaAdvani, MadhuBhojwani and NikkhilAdvani, the romantic action drama also stars his Ek Villain co-star Siddharth Malhotra and Tara Sutaria along with RakulPreet Singh.

On Riteish playing villain again in his film, director Milap says, " Riteish's villainous role had to be better than the last time. I decided to raise the bar by scaling him down in size. Even though he is a dwarf, his character is larger than life. The part is extremely wicked with dark humour, great punch lines and some crazy face-off scenes with Sid."

While Sidharth has already started shooting, Riteish will join them soon.

Riteish is preparing hard for his character by analysing and observing how someone of that height would walk, gesticulate and run. They are also taking workshops.

The film is produced by T-Series and Emmay Entertainment and is slated to release on 2nd October 2019.

After the convincing success of the mass-entertainer Satyameva Jayate, Bhushan Kumar, Nikkhil Advani and Milap Milan Zaveri are back with their next film titled Marjaavaan. Helming this action-packed, high on drama, emotional love story, set against the backdrop of Mumbai city, are Riteish Deshmukh, Sidharth Malhotra and Tara Sutaria. 

A lot of excitement around this unique casting is because Riteish and Sidharth were last seen together in the blockbuster film Ek Villain (2013), which was co-written by Milap as well. Tara Sutaria, who will debut in SOTY 2, is the fresh new face and will play Sidharth’s love interest in this film.

T-Series CMD Bhushan Kumar had this to say “Extremely excited and proud to once again partner with Nikkhil and his team. We have together backed Milap’s earlier film and are confident of bringing this family entertainer for our audiences. Apart from an engaging story, the film will have wonderfully curated music to highlight the love story.”

Nikkhil Advani added “My company Emmay Entertainment has been developing this film with Milap since two years and we hope to exceed expectations with Marjaavaan. Be prepared for action, dialogue-baazi Milap style, with a moving tale of love and longing.”

The film goes on floors December 2018 and is slated for release on October 2nd, 2019.
