Indian Institute of Information Technology

Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Tiruchirappalli  Tiruchirappalli celebrated its Institute Day on the 25th April 2019  with its faculty members and students. The Director Dr. N.V.S.N Sarma, Dean Dr. N. Kumaresan, Associate Dean (P&D) Dr. J. Jerald, Associate  Dean (Academic)   Dr. P. Raja and the Chief Guest Dr. T. K.  
Radhakrishnan, Dean (Faculty-Welfare) NIT Tiruchirappalli  addressed  the students and conveyed their farewell wishes to the final year  students and blessed them for a successful future. Dr P. Raja presented the Institute Day report. The Director quoted that the  outgoing students are the brand ambassadors of the institute and   should contribute in all possible ways for the overall development of  the institute in the future. The Dean of the Institute, Dr N.  Kumaresan, detailed the activities taking place in the new building  (Construction site). He also cited the contributions of faculty and  students in the academic year.





 Dr J. Jerald addressed the gathering  and spoke about the overall development happening in the institute.  
The chief guest, Prof. T.K. Radhakrishnan delivered the presidential  address with a farewell note. The Academic toppers were awarded medals  and merit certificates by the chief guest. The faculty members wished  
students good fortune and prosperity in all their endeavours in life.  The pre-final students conveyed their thanks for the support and  co-operation rendered by the outgoing students in the last three years.

Similarly, the final year students expressed their indebtedness to the  NITT authorities and IIITT faculty and staff for their whole-hearted,  incessant support in training them as full-fledged engineers. Ms. K.  Dakshina, Faculty member, Dept. of CSE, marked the successful  completion of the Institute day by proposing the Vote of Thanks.
