His journey encapsulates a lot of hard work, tackling the odds, and battling the barricades, thereby accomplishing dreams with consistent hard work, discipline, and dedication has inspired many individuals. The balls he bowled would rarely cross the boundaries, but his inspiring journey, has moved beyond them, leaving everyone spellbound. Now his life story is getting translated into celluloid with ’800’ directed by MS Sripathy.

Sharing his thoughts and words on this film, Muttiah Muralidharan says, “It’s an emotional phase of my life, as I didn’t expect all such things would happen. More than telling my life story, the film is actually made with the attention of inspiring the younger generation to showcase the challenges and struggles that lies ahead of them. I thank Movie Train Motion Pictures, and Sridevi Movies Krishna Prasad Sivalenka (Presenter of the film) for making this film happen. While shooting this film, the crew had to face lots of issues including the financial crisis that broke out in Sri Lanka. Despite all these hurdles, the crew successfully completed the shooting. I thank Madhurr Mittal for breathing life through my character in this movie. 800 will be a movie that will give you a pleasant, inspiring, and wholesome experience.”
