Allu Arjun creates history as he recieved the Best Actor award at 69th National Film Awards ceremony for his stellar performance in Pushpa - The Rise. While the awards were announced in late August, the grand ceremony was held today at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi. With this win, Allu Arjun achieved a significant milestone in his acting journey becoming the first Telugu actor to recieve this prestigious honour in the country. Dressed in Sherwani jacket, the Icon star combined style with grace and presented himself with utmost elegance. He attended the ceremony along with his wife Allu Sneha Reddy.
‘Pushpa - The Rise’ which released in 2021 had a record breaking run at the box office and also became one of the most viewed films on OTT platform. Allu Arjun’s portrayal of ‘Pushparaj’ with utter conviction became a household name and etched its name in the history of Indian cinema as a most loved character.
After the tremendous success of part 1, the sequel for the film ‘Pushpa 2 - The Rule’ constantly tops the list of the most anticipated films in the country. The release date announcement of August 15th, 2024 by the makers created the stir in entire nation leaving fans curious about the next chapter in Pushparaj’s life.
