குழந்தைகளுடன் தீபாவளி கொண்டாடிய நடிகைகள் இந்துஜா, அதுல்யா ரவி

“உதவும் உள்ளங்கள்” என்ற தொண்டமைப்பு வருடந்தோறும் பல்வேறு அமைப்புகளில் உள்ள ஆதரவற்ற குழந்தைகளை ஒன்று திரட்டி அவர்களுக்காக “ஆனந்த தீபாவளி” என்று நிகழ்வை நடத்தி வருகின்றனர். இந்த வருடம் சுமார் 1222 குழந்தைகள் “ஆனந்த தீபாவளி” நிகழ்ச்சியில் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.

இன்று நடந்த இந்நிகழ்வில் நடிகைகள் இந்துஜா, அதுல்யா ரவி கலந்து கொண்டு குழந்தைகளுடன் இணைந்து தீபாவளி கொண்டாடினர்.

நிகழ்வில் நடிகை இந்துஜா பேசியபோது, “இந்த வருடம் தீபாவளி கொண்டாட்டமாக தளபதி விஜய் நடித்த பிகில் படம் திரைக்கு வருகிறது. இப்படம் நடிப்பதற்கு என்னை அணுகிய போது நான் எவ்வளவு சந்தோஷம் அடைந்தேனோ, அதே சந்தோஷம் உங்களை இன்று சந்தித்தபோது அடைந்தேன். மேலும் இந்த அமைப்பின் நிறுவனர் திரு. சங்கர் மகாதேவன், மற்றும் இந்த அமைப்பின் நலம் விரும்பி திருமதி. கிருத்திகா உதயநிதி ஸ்டாலின் அவர்களுக்கும் எனது வாழ்த்துக்கள்” என்றார்.

நிகழ்வில் நடிகை அதுல்யா ரவி, “உலகில் அனைவரும் ஒருவருக்கொருவர் உதவிசெய்து வந்தால், ஆதரவற்றோர் என்று யாரும் இருக்கமாட்டார்கள். எனவே நம்மால் முடிந்த உதவியை இயலாதவர்களுக்கு செய்து அவர்களின் வாழ்க்கை முன்னேற்றதிற்கு பாதை வகுக்க வேண்டும்” என்றார்.

“உதவும் உள்ளங்கள்” அமைப்பின் நிறுவனர் சங்கர் மகாதேவன், “22 ஆண்டுகளாக ஆனந்த தீபாவளி நிகழ்வு நடைபெற்று வருகிறது. தெய்வகுழந்தைகளை மகிழ்வூட்டி அவர்களின் ஒட்டுமொத்த சந்தோஷ்த்தை வெளிக்கொணர்வது மட்டுமல்லாமல் இதுபோன்ற பிள்ளைகளின் எதிர்கால நல்வாழ்விற்கு கல்வி ஒளி வழங்குவதே இந்நிகழ்ச்சியின் பிரதான நோக்கம்” என்றார்.

Excerpts from Suttu Pidikka Utharavu Pre-release event

The racy trailer of “Suttu Pidikka Utharavu” has prompted decorous reception offering a good reach for the film. With its worldwide release scheduled on June 14, 2019, the entire team was present this evening interacting with press and media. Here are some of the excerpts from the occasion. 

Director Ramprakash Rayappa said, “When I started penning the script of Suttu Pidikka Utharavu, I had to play it on a low key keeping the budget in mind. However, when I narrated the script to Ram Mohan sir, he encouraged me with his suggestions to include the appropriate action blocks, which maximized the graph of movie. While approaching Mysskin sir, I was so much doubtful whether he would accept to be a part of this film. To my surprise, he gave a nod instantly 2 minutes after listening to the script. In fact, our vibes were somewhat the same as I had Suseenthiran sir in mind for another role, which Mysskin sir coincidentally suggested the same. Vikranth has done a great job of what is required for the role. These days, it’s really hard to find a Tamil speaking heroine and Athulya Ravi has done a beautiful work in this movie. Jakes Bejoy has rendered a wonderful BGM for this film and we don’t have any songs. I am looking forward to a good reception from audiences and we have tried delivering the best as a racy thriller.” 

Music director Jakes Bejoy said, “The film has lots of raciness and emotions blended together and it gave me good scope to experiment with different paradigms of musical genres. My first movie in Tamil was ‘Thaakka Thaakka’ that had Vikranth in lead role and I am happy to be working with him again.” 

Actress Athulya Ravi said, “Just like Ramprakash Rayappa sir’s debut film ‘Tamizhukku En Ondrai Azhuthavum’ was highly appreciated, so will be this film. I didn’t have any scenes to shoot with Mysskin sir and I actually wanted to share the screen space with him. But somehow, I am happy that I got an opportunity to be a part of this film, where he is a part of star-cast. Working with Suseenthiran sir has been really a great moment and it was an enjoyable experience all throughout the shoot. Vikranth is a good friend of mine even before we worked together in this movie and he has done lots of hard work in this film. Suttu Pidikka Utharavu will be a full-fledged action thriller, which will be liked by all.”

Director Suseenthiran said, “I am a great fan of Ramprakash Rayappa’s Tamizhukku En Ondrai Azhuthavum. More than any of us in the team, it’s Stuntmen who did a marvelous job and I was really shocked to see some of the life-risking action performed by them. This is a film that actually demanded for stuntmen throughout the show and they are completely amazing. SPU has more action than dialogues and there is a good prominence for ‘Sound effects’ in this film. I have little combination scenes with Mysskin and am happy that I have been a common choice of both Mysskin and Ramprakash for this role. I was so much clear about just listening and performing to what director says. The director’s proficiency is so much appreciable and editor too has done a remarkable job for the movie was shot with multi-camera set up and it demanded for a crisp transition.” 

Director Mysskin said, “Initially, I was reluctant to sign this film, but wanted to hear the script from Ramprakash Rayappa as I didn’t want to the hurt the feelings of directors who are on their initial stage of their venture. When I asked him to narrate the story in 2 minutes, he left me awestruck and I decided to be a part of this film. I didn’t want to be a director and was completely submissive to what Ramprakash said and narrated. Suseenthiran is a jovial person who doesn’t miss to remain happy in spite of so many problems. His energy passed on a positive vibe into me and am happy to have a Tamil speaking heroine like Athulya as a part of this film. I always have a soft corner for Vikranth and he is someone, who is silent and yet is fighting to reach the best position, which I believe will happen through this movie.

Etching a great mark of accomplishment through his performance in ‘Pandiya Nadu’, actor Vikranth’s career graph has found itself scaling decent heights with each film.  The intense roles and scripts have been nurturing his career graph and his upcoming film ‘Suttu Pidikka Utharavu’ is no exception. His portions in the film’s visual promos have spread out the larger lease of confidence among the audiences that he has something different and unique to deliver here. So what actually acquired his interest to be a part of this film? Ask Vikranth and he says, “Frankly speaking, I didn’t want to be a part of this film at first. When director Ramprakash Rayappa informed me that it’s a multi-starrer project, I wanted to skip it as my previous ones to have been on the same pattern. Moreover, when I had movies like “Bakrid”, which is establishing me in a solo lead role, I had the reluctant mindset to take up this offer. However, when Ramprakash made a request at least to listen the script, I decided to give a try. In 10 minutes of narration, I was completely awestruck by the way how he narrated and shaped my character. Well, I had no options, but to get onboard.”

Soon after viewing the trailer, we have a strong curiosity tagged to Vikranth’s role as it remains veiled. He says, “My role has everything amalgamated for it involves emotions, suspense an action. Usually, thriller movies are bounded to the formulae of making everyone stay with guesses for a while. In contrast, Suttu Pidikka Utharavu will have a straight story without such aspects and yet, the thrill elements will be retained throughout the story.” Having said this, it’s really exciting to see the actor perform so many breathtaking action sequences.”The actual truth is that it was hugely challenging as I am someone, who gets dizziness at heights. SPU is a film that has major stunts happening on building tops and it was really a tough task to accomplish,” smilingly says Vikranth.

Suttu Pidikka Utharavu slated for June 14 release features Vikranth, Athulya Ravi, Mysskin and Suseenthiran in lead roles is directed by Ramprakash Rayappa and is produced by PK Ram Mohan of Kalpataru Pictures.

The trailers and visual promos of "Suttu Pidikka Utharavu" have created an impulsive urge to watch the film featuring Vikranth, Athulya Ravi, Mysskin and Suseenthiran in lead roles.  In addition, the film's title itself signifies that the movie is based on Nick of Time thriller genre. Gearing up for worldwide release on June 14, there's a good lease of expectations whelming upon the film. However, the biggest inquisitiveness prevailing across the places is about director Ramprakash Rayappa making the top league filmmakers Mysskin and Suseenthiran wear the greasepaint.

Ramprakash Rayappa says, "More than ennobling them as 'filmmakers', they are geniuses, who are jacks of all trades in the industry. During many occasions, I was actually admiring them for their nuance performances on the shooting spot. The characters that I wrote on the script papers found immense life through their performances. Yes, I did have some doubts about myself of how things are going to be as they are super seniors in filmmaking. Nevertheless, such misconceptions were completely rubbished with their pure avatar as actors, where they were keenly focusing on their acting and never gave a small suggestion or changes to me. At many point of times, I have felt that Vikranth is most the underrated actor and I am so much happy to see that he is experiencing golden rush with promising projects in his stores. I am sure, his performance in the film will be highly lauded by all. Athulya Ravi is someone, who owns a rarest quality of giving a realistic touch to her acting and everyone in the star-cast have done an extraordinary job.”

Talking about the film’s premise, he doesn’t want to reveal much, but hints saying, “It’s a thriller with minute-to-minute surprises and will be emotionally gripping as well.”

Scheduled for worldwide release on June 14, Suttu Pidikka Utharavu is produced by P.K. Ram Mohan for Kalpataru Pictures. Jakes Bejoy has composed background score and music for this film with Sujith Sarang handling cinematography and G. Rama Rao is the editor.
