Undisputed superstar Prabhas starrer 'Saaho' earns 205 Crores, worldwide in just two days of its release

Saaho starring Prabhas has taken the nation by storm with by crossing a milestone of 130 Cr worldwide at the box -office. Continuing the recording breaking spree, the film has garnered a total of 205 Cr in two days globally. 

After winning the audience with his uber cool look and full-fledged action avatar in the film, Prabhas's Saaho effortlessly beats Avengers: Endgame. What's interesting is that 'Saaho' is the second film in Indian cinema to create a record after Prabhas' Baahubali and both the 'Classic cult' are of Prabhas which is a testimony of the actor's humongous fandom.

Not only fans, critics too have hailed the film for it's high octane action sequences and intriguing storyline. 

Saaho has been making the right noise as it was Prabhas' first film after the Baahubali saga, marking Prabhas' bollywood debut and Shraddha's Telugu Debut. The film which opened yesterday, even the morning shows in Mumbai had the highest occupancy which shows that Prabhas is turning a Bonafide star with his path breaking films.

The movie also has a superlative ensemble cast of Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mandira Bedi, Chunky Panday, Mahesh Manjrekar, Arun Vijay, Murali Sharma, amongst others. 

'Saaho' is a high octane action thriller which is presented by T-Series, produced by UV Creations and directed by Sujeeth, released yesterday- nationwide and got the nation celebrating the World Saaho Day on its release.

CBFC UNVEILS ITS NEW LOGO AND CERTIFICATE DESIGN

At the industry meet, a first of its kind, hosted by CBFC chief Prasoon Joshi with I&B Minister Shri Prakash Javadekar as chief guest nd I&B secretary Shri Amit Khare ; CBFC unveiled a new logo and certificate design .

Commenting on the same Prasoon joshi said “I believe design should reflect the contemporary digital world and leverage the ease that technology has brought in our work processes. The new Design change is not cosmetic -it is extremely functional and underlines CBFC’s positive value-added approach “

The unveiling of the new design was preceded by a talk by Prasoon Joshi wherein several other positive initiatives that the CBFC has undertaken for the industry in the course of the last few years was highlighted. Be it the more transparent and smooth functioning, the simplification of the AWBI issues and also the positive role played in various issues for the industry.

All this has resulted in a more collaborative process that Joshi said he consciously worked on for he believes that rather than confrontation and controversy a more positive approach   of “dialogue and discussion” should be practised.  He was extremely appreciative of his Board members who have been instrumental in taking this forward. The board comprises of Ms Gautami Tadimala, Vani Tripathi Tikoo,  T Nagabharana , Narendar kohli , Mihir Buta, Waman Kendre, Vidya Balan, Jeevitha Shekhar, Vivek Agnihotri, Neil Nongkynrih, Ramesh patange , Naresh Lal

Regional officer Tushar Karmakar presented the new approach of CBFC for making the film certification process smooth and transparent.

Frequently meeting the industry at different forums and also creating opportunities for the film fraternity and the government representatives to meet and interact is also a step in this direction.

“வந்தா ராஜாவாதான் வருவேன்” படத்தைத்தொடர்ந்து இயக்குனர் சுந்தர்.C அவர்கள் இயக்கிக் கொண்டிருக்கும் படம் “ஆக்‌ஷன்”. இப்படத்தில் விஷால் கதாநாயகனாக நடிக்க, தமன்னா கதாநாயகியாக நடிக்கிறார். மத கஜ ராஜா மற்றும் ஆம்பள படங்களைத் தொடந்து இயக்குனர் சுந்தர்.C மற்றும் நடிகர் விஷால் இணையும் மூன்றாவது படம் இந்த “ஆக்‌ஷன்” திரைப்படம்.

விஷாலுடன் நான் முன்பே இணைந்து படம் செய்வதாக இருந்தது. இருவரும் வேறு வேறு படங்களில் பிஸியாக இருந்தோம். 

விஷால்-  நான் இருவரும் “ஆக்‌ஷன்”படம் மூலம் மீண்டும் இணைந்துள்ளோம். நான் M.G.R ரின் தீவிர ரசிகர்  “உலகம் சுற்றும் வாலிபன்” படத்தைப்போல ஒரு படம் எடுக்க வேண்டும் என்று பல வருடங்களாக ஆசைப்பட்டேன்.தற்போது நடிகர் விஷால் மூலம் அந்த கனவு நிறைவேறியுள்ளது.  எழுபது சதவிகிதம் வெளிநாடுகளிலும் , ஜெய்ப்பூர், டெல்லி, ஐதராபாத் மற்றும் சென்னையில் ஆக்‌ஷன் படமாக்கப்பட்டது.அதேபோல் இதுவரை நான் இயக்கிய படங்களிலேயே “ஆக்‌ஷன்” காட்சிகள் அதிகமான திரைப்படம் இது தான். இதுவரை தமிழ் சினிமாவில் பார்த்திராத சண்டைக் காட்சிகள் இந்த படத்தில் இடம் பெற்றுள்ளன. 

தொடர்ச்சியாக பேய் படங்கள், காமெடி படங்கள், சிறுவர்கள் முதல் பெரியவர்கள் வரை சிரித்து ரசிக்கும் படியான படங்கள் தந்ததால் என்னை காமெடி இயக்குநர் ஆக்கிவிட்டார்கள். ஆனால் எனக்கு ஆக்சன் படம் செய்யதான் ஆசை.

 நான் எப்போதும் வேலை செய்து கொண்டே இருப்பதில் தீவிரமாக இருப்பேன்.  ஒரு படத்தை இயக்கி ரிலீஸ் ஆவதற்குள் தனது அடுத்த படத்தின் வேலைகளை துவங்கிவிடுவது எனது வழக்கம்.  எனக்கு , அனைத்து ஜானரிலும் படம் இயக்க ஆசை. “முறைமாமன்” படத்தின் இயக்குனாராக அறிமுகமானபோது அது ஒரு ரிமேக் படம் ஆனால்  அப்டத்தை வேறுவிதமாக கூறியிருந்தேன். “உள்ளத்தை அள்ளித்தா”, “மேட்டுக்குடி” என்று காதல் கலந்த காமெடி படத்தை இயக்கியதால் என்னை காமெடிபடம் செய்யும் இயக்குநராக்கிவிட்டார்கள். ஆனால் நான் எல்லா பாணியிலும் படம் செய்துள்ளேன்.  சூப்பர் ஸ்டார் ரஜினிகாந்தை வைத்து “அருணாச்சலம்” என்ற மிகப்பெரிய வெற்றிப் படத்தை இயக்கினேன். அப்படம் முழுக்கமுழுக்க காமெடி கலந்த ஆக்‌ஷன் படமாக இருந்தது. 

இப்படம் முழுக்க முழுக்க சண்டை காட்சி நிரம்பிய திரைப்படம் என்பதால் விஷால் நடித்து வரும் இப்படத்திற்கு “ஆக்‌ஷன்” என்றே  பெயர் வைத்துவிட்டோம். ஒரு படத்திற்கு வெகு முக்கியமானது டைட்டில் தான். படத்தின் மையத்தை அதில் சொல்லிவிட்டால் எதிர்பார்த்து வரும் ரசிகன் ஏமாற மாட்டான். அதுமட்டுமல்லாமல், தற்போது தமிழ் படங்களை இந்தி ரசிகர்களும் தெலுங்கு ரசிகர்களும் ஆதரித்து வருவதனால் இந்த தலைப்பு அணைத்து மொழிகளிலும் இந்தப் பெயர் பொருத்தமாக இருக்கும் என்று திட்டமிட்டு  வைத்துள்ளோம். 

இந்தக் கதைக்கு நல்ல உடல்வாகுடன் டூப் போடாம சண்டைக் காட்சிகளில் நடிக்க ஒரு கதாநாயகன் தேவைப்பட்டதால் நடிகர் விஷால் சரியாக இருப்பார் என்று படக்குழுவினருக்குத் தோன்றியது. மேலும் இப்படத்தில் சுபாஷ் என்கின்ற கதாப்பாத்திரத்தில் மிலிட்டரி ஆபீஸராக விஷால் நடிச்சிருக்கார். இவருக்கு ஜோடியாக தமன்னா, மிலிட்டரி கமாண்டோ கதாப்பாத்திரத்தில் நடித்துள்ளார். இவர்களுடன் இணைந்து குடும்பப் பாங்கான பெண்ணாக ஐஸ்வர்யா லட்சுமி நடித்துள்ளார். மற்றும் அகான்ஸா பூரி என்பவர்  பக்கா ரெளடித்தனம் செய்யும் கதாப்பாதிரத்தில் நடித்துள்ளார். இவர்களைத் தவிர, அரசியல்வாதியாக பழ.கருப்பையா, பாலிவுட் நடிகர் கபீர் சிங் வில்லனா டூயல் ரோல், ராம்கி, யோகி பாபு மற்றும் பலர் இப்படத்தில் நடித்துள்ளனர். முழுப்படப்பிடிப்பும் முடிந்த நிலையில் விரைவில் திரைக்கு வரும் முயற்சிகளில் இருக்கிறது ஆக்‌ஷன் திரைப்படம். 

இதன் படப்பிடிப்பு முடிவடைந்தது. போஸ்ட் ப்ரொடக்ஷன் வேலைகள் தற்போது நடைபெற்று வருகிறது .கதை , இயக்கம்: சுந்தர்.சி .

Amidst the release of the film, this restaurant in Mumbai dedicates a menu to Saaho; name it ‘Saaho’ Thali

In the release week of Prabhas starrer film Saaho, a restaurant in Mumbai has recreated a special menu -'Saaho Thaali'. The restaurant named as ‘Maharaja Bhog’, express their love for the upcoming magnum opus and as a dedication to Prabhas, they have curated a menu specifically designed and named it ‘Saaho Thaali’. They have started the menu today and much to their delight, people are already enjoying the massive plate of Indian delicacies.

The massive Saaho Thali includes the dishes of Paneer veg Kolhapuri, Bhindi Dahiwala, Aloo Suva Sukha Bhaji and Chole Masala in the vegetable section, Rajasthani Dal, Rajasthani Kadhi, Gujarati Dal,  Gujarati Kadhi in the Daal section, Fulka roti, Bajra roti, green peas puri, steam rice, khichdi, Kesari pulav in the roti and rice section, Indori Samosa, Ring Dhokla in Farsaans, Dal Pakwan in the specials and Elaichi shrikhand, apple halwa, in desserts.

Prabhas, on getting to know about the same, shares his happiness. “The way people go out of their way to support me and my films is overwhelming. I cannot thank them enough.
