CAREER GUIDANCE WEB SERIES HELD AT VELAMMAL
Velammal Main School, Mogappair Campus organizes web series WHAT NEXT? an exclusive career guidance session.
'A talk on journalism as a career' by Mr. Gopinath, popular Journalist, News Presenter, Writer and Founder of Talkshop Academy was live streamed at the Velammal Nexus YouTube channel on 2nd June, 2021 at 6pm.
Mr. Gopinath threw light on the career aspects of Journalism and said that it is an exciting and fast paced career, a great fit for those who are interested in current events and have good presentation skills.
Taking the session forward, he spoke at length on the different types of journalism, its various segments and the qualities required to become a journalist.
Finally, he concluded the session saying that Journalists are representatives of people's voice.
An inspiring session that provided an insight to the students and grabbed several thousands of viewers.
