Martyrs’ Day observed at Velammal

                                                                                                                                      

Velammal Main School, Mogappair campus observed Martyrs’ Day on 30^th January, 2020 in its campus  to honour those who sacrificed their lives in the freedom struggle of our country. Students paid floral tribute and a 2 – minute silence was observed as a mark of respect to the Martyrs.   

The significant contribution in the fight of freedom by Mahatma Gandhi, the father of our nation was highlighted. Patriotic songs were sung to honour the martyrs for their heroic deeds.
