Sivakarthikeyan Productions has created a commendable array of movies that have owned unique story premises and excellent presentations that have appealed to the interests of both critics and audiences. The production house in association with The Little Wave Productions is glad to announce its new project titled ‘Kottukaali’. The film features Soori and Anna Ben in the lead roles, and is directed by P.S. Vinothraj of the Internationally acclaimed film ‘Koozhangal’. 

Producer Sivakarthikeyan says, “Every film industry has its priceless moment when a filmmaker conceptualizes and creates a film with pure native elements, and it becomes Internationally acclaimed. Director P.S. Vinothraj is such a gem, who made our Tamil film industry proud with his riveting film ‘Koozhangal’ by winning the prestigious ‘Tiger Award’ at Rotterdam International Film Festival, whose earlier recipients have been the world’s greatest filmmakers. Working with my close friend Soori is yet another reason to get excited, and having a powerhouse talent like Anna Ben as a part of our project is elating.” 

Co-producer Kalai Arasu says, “We liked director Vinothraj’s work in Koozhangal, and we are happy to be associated with him in next directorial venture. Besides, collaborating with the versatile talented performers like Soori and Anna Ben excites us. SK Productions has always strived to deliver good contents, and this will be one such movie.”

Kottukkaali is written and directed by P.S. Vinothraj and is produced by actor Sivakarthikeyan’s Sivakarthikeyan Productions in association with The Little Wave Productions. 

Sakthi is handling cinematography, Ganesh Siva is taking care of editing and Suren G, S. Alagia koothan are is the Sound Designer for this film. The others on the technical crew include Kabilan (Publicity Designer), Ragul Parasuram (Marketing & Promotions), and Banu Priya (Executive Producer). The film is co-produced by Kalai Arasu.
