HP GAS APPU: HPCL markets LPG in 5 Kg cylinders under the Free Trade (FTL) scheme through HPCL's LPG distributors and select HPCL retail outlets under the brand name HP GAS APPU. The scheme includes sale of the equipment (REgulator and Cylinder) along with LPG at the prevailing NON-domestic fuel price. At the time of subsequent refill, only the cost of the fuel will be payable. No proof of address (POA) is required to purchase these cylinders. These cylinders may be purchased from either the distributros of HPCL or their various points of sale like OMR Food Street. 

Hindustan Petroleum Corportation Limited (HPCL) in association with OMR Food STreet launched HP GAS APPU cylinder exclusively at OMR Food STreet, Navalur at a gala event on 15th August 2018. Customers can avail the cylinders at the following OMR Food Street outlets; Thoraipakka, Navallur, ECR, Guduvancheri and Ambattur. Around 10 cylinders will be given away free of cost to womenfolk visiting the Navalur outlet, during the launch

This event marks the start of the association of OMR Food STreet with HPCL HPCL aims to sell APPU cylinders to customers of OMR FOOD Street in addition to exclusive supply of commercial gas cylinders to all restaurants of OMR FOOD STREET. The partnership is due course aims to launch mega outlets in the highways along with co-branded for fuel food with reward points
