VELAMMAL STUDENTS CREATE 40 FEET CHRISTMAS TREE FROM USED PAPER

Velammal Vidyalaya, Karambakkam, Porur, Chennai sets world record for creating the largest Christmas tree and a crib using waste newspapers.
Our School has created a 40 feet Christmas tree and a crib using 400 students with 4000 waste Newspapers within 40 hours of time on 18th  December 2021. It was organised by our school management innovatively to spread awareness on 3R's  (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle) to the public & children. The significance of celebrating Christmas was told with creativity. Our school was honoured with Elite Innovative School award by Raaba world record for creating the World's largest Christmas tree and a crib using waste newspapers. 


The spectacular tree was festooned with adorable lamps and luminous lights. It is an eye-opening experience to everyone. The festive spirit was witnessed among the children and the staff.
