The much-awaited independent song Pavazha Malli, produced by Think Music, and composed by young music sensation Sai Abhyankkar, was officially launched at a special event held in Chennai last evening. The track, sung by Sai Abhyankkar and Shruthi Haasan, marks yet another vibrant addition to the growing independent music scene and has already begun drawing attention for its unique musical flavour and visuals.

Speaking at the launch, Sai Abhyankkar expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people who have played an important role in shaping his journey. He said, “I would like to thank Santhosh anna and Magesh anna for giving me this platform and for being strong pillars in shaping my career. Their support means a lot to me. Above everything else, I am deeply grateful to the fans who have consistently showered me with so much love and encouragement.”

Sharing updates about his upcoming projects, Sai Abhyankkar revealed that several exciting works are currently underway. “Karuppu is gearing up for a worldwide release in April. The preparatory work for Dhanush sir’s D55 is currently in progress, and I am also composing music for the Allu Arjun–Atlee project. When Atlee anna first met me, I played him one of my single compositions, and he immediately asked if I would like to compose music for his next film. The confidence he placed in me is something I will always remain grateful for,” he said.

When asked about stepping into acting, the composer clarified that his primary focus will remain music. “Everyone gathered here today has come for my music, and that means everything to me. I want to continue working hard and focus on delivering the best music I possibly can,” he stated.

Addressing his consistent success and the challenges that come along with it, Sai Abhyankkar emphasised the importance of dedication and perseverance. “Today there are many platforms that allow artists to showcase their potential. At the same time, it also means we have to work even harder. I thank my parents for being a constant source of inspiration, my mentors for guiding me, and all the music streaming platforms for their support.”

Speaking about his collaboration with Think Music for Pavazha Malli, he shared an interesting moment from the song’s creation. “I played just 45 seconds of the scratch composition, and Magesh immediately locked it as our fifth collaboration. I would also like to thank director Thejo Bharathwaj for bringing this song to life beautifully. Niketh Bommi has been a strong pillar in shaping the visuals. Director Keerthiswaran was the first filmmaker to step into my studio and has always given me complete creative freedom. I also thank choreographer Sheriff Master and the entire team who worked together to make this song look wonderful,” he said.

With its refreshing musical style and strong visual presentation, Pavazha Malli stands as another promising addition to the independent music space, highlighting Sai Abhyankkar’s evolving creative journey.
