Brahma Kumaris is a voluntary organisation offering socio, spiritual & educational services to mankind with its International Head Quarters at Mount Abu, Rajasthan. We are offering educational programmes in moral and spiritual values through our more than 4500 branches all over the world in 147 countries. We are affiliated to the UN as an NGO. We have a consultative status with UNICEF and ECOSOC, and a recipient of Peace Messenger Award from UNO on 7 occasions and the global ambassador of value education.

In this year, we are planning to celebrate Shivajayanthi (SHIVARATHRI) on a grand scale by bringing out a depiction of Mount Kailash-Manasarovar in Chennai. According to Skanda Purana, the Supreme Hindu text, it is described that Kailash is the Supreme Mountain where God Shiva dwells and is the residential ‘Himalaya Home of God Shiva’. This programme aims to provide divine experience of being at the respective pilgrim place.

This event is scheduled to be held at Valluvarkottam from 8 am to 8 pm between March 2, 2019 and March 5, 2019. No entry fee will be charged and, General public and devotees can have a free darshan of Kailash-Manasarovar.
