தமிழ் ஸ்டடீஸ் யூகே எனும் அமைப்பின் சார்பாக இங்கிலாந்து நாடாளுமன்ற உறுப்பினர் மரியா மில்லர் ஏற்பாடு செய்திருந்த நிகழ்ச்சியில் உலகெங்கும் பல்வேறு துறைகளில் சாதித்த பெண்கள் கவுரவிக்கப்பட்டனர்.

இந்த உயரிய விருதிற்காக தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டவர்களில் ராதிகாவும் ஒருவர். இங்கிலாந்து நாடாளுமன்றத்தில் விருது பெற்ற கையோடு, ராதிகா அங்கு உரையாற்றியும் இருக்கிறார்.

இது குறித்து மகிழ்ச்சி தெரிவித்துள்ளா ராதிகா சரத்குமார், “இங்கிலாந்து நாடாளுமன்றத்தில் விருது பெற்றது மிகுந்த மகிழ்ச்சியும் பெருமையும் நிரம்பிய தருணம். இவ்விருதிற்கு என்னை தேர்ந்தெடுத்த தேர்வுக்குழுவினருக்கும், இத்தனை ஆண்டு காலம் எனக்கு ஆதரவளித்த திரை மற்றும் தொலைக்காட்சித் துறையினருக்கும், குடும்பத்தினருக்கும் மிக்க நன்றி,” என்று கூறியுள்ளார்.

Radikaa Sarathkumar, who has been active in the film and television industries for many years, is a well-known actress and also the Managing Director of Radaan MediaWorks. She has received an award in the UK Parliament for her achievements.

Hosted by UK Member of Parliament Maria Miller, the event was organised by Tamil Studies UK forum. Women who have achieved in various fields around the world were honoured at the event.

Radikaa is one of the winners of this prestigious award. Besides getting the award, Radikaa also delivered an address in the UK Parliament and it was well received.

"Receiving the award in the UK Parliament was a moment of great joy and pride. I would like to thank the selection committee who had chosen me for this award, colleagues in film and television industries and and my family members who have supported me for so many years,” Radhika Sarathkumar said.

This is all about Radhika Sarathkumar joining the shoot of ‘SK 13’, which has spread the delights in ampleness. 

Sharing the good news, filmmaker Rajesh says, “All that I can say elatedly is that the positivity on our sets is vividly increasing day by day. I am literally bestowed with such overwhelming moments right from the time we started shooting. A producer like K.E. Gnanavel Raja who enjoys every bit of process in catering our needs is indeed the major reason. Of course, one needn’t delineate the ebullient nature of Sivakarthikeyan. His amusing nature to keep everyone around him with fun and joy keeps rejuvenating our energy. Not to miss the vitality of Nayanthara that has been unchanging after years.  Now, with Radhika mam joining this film, things are brimming with much more positivity. She plays a pivotal role for which she alone can do justice. Her amazing presence gives this film a huge content orientation. To see such an amazing bunch of not just excellent actors, but people of such a great nature come together, I am really privileged and am sure this is shaping our film in a much elegant way. Especially to have Hiphop Aadhi, a symbolic significance of music and celebrations is a resplendent boon to us.”

She’s on the huge spree of bagging the best offers down the line and here’s the new one adding up to the queue. Yes, the much celebrated Priya Bhavani Shankar will be playing the love interest of Atharvaa Murali in his next titled ‘Kuruthi Aattam’. 

While many actresses eventually get signed up for projects for the sake of brand values, filmmakers consistently look up for few, who would make a role complete breathing more life to them. In a delimited way, Priya Bhavani Shankar keeps striding with such roles, which are evident with her choice of movies. 

“It’s completely true and I witnessed it myself during the process of narration. Usually, the actresses at this particular stage of their growth would blindly go for such offers with top league actors, but Priya was an exceptional one,” says filmmaker Sri Ganesh.

He recollects the occasion, where he met her for the narration citing that despite liking the role, she openly expressed her view mentioning that he role could be emphasized with few more substantial. “In fact, this made me so much happy about her involvement about the role and project. Sooner, I redrafted her characterization and she was completely impressed, giving a nod,” sums up our ‘8 Thottakkal’ director. 

Set against the backdrops of Madurai, the film revolves around the raw-rustic lifestyle of gangsters, where Priya Bhavani Shankar will be seen as a teacher. With a prominent league of actors like Radharavi, Radhika Sarathkumar and lots more, the film’s shoot will commence by next week. 

With a dazzling attribute of Yuvan Shankar Raja’s musical score, ‘Kuruthi Aattam’ has already become a sensational pick in Tinsel Town.
