“Soori will rule the screens from beginning till end with non-stop comedy in Seemaraja ” – Sivakarthikeyan
The arrival of Seemaraja has taken its greatest toast of celebrations among the fans in town. With rigorous advance bookings and celebrations in city, sub-urban and rural areas, the film has already set its trenchant mark of success to a greater magnitude. The massive avatar of Sivakarthikeyan in the visual promos and trailers has furthermore intensified the Seema Raja fever among his fans. Absolutely, on the other end, it has given an impression that it’s a film with serious premise. But even before such doubts would arise through the course, Sivakarthikeyan settles them down with a simple yet high clarity statement. “Soori will rule the screens from beginning till end with non-stop comedy in Seemaraja. I think, this indeed is enough with sumptuous evidence of his humorous spell in the movie,” starts off Sivakarthikeyan.
While speaking about the basic gist of the film, Sivakarthikeyan claims that the film definitely owns a unique theme, which would be relevant to any situational context in accordance to Tamil people. “This was something that Ponram had decided even before crafting the entire narration on script papers… In both our previous movies – Rajini Murugan and Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam, we had managed to deliver decorous package of entertainment. So we had a firm decision of offering them more on our best in Seemaraja as well. Although, the basic premise might have its impact, it has been presented with complete entertainment laced with humour, sentiments, romance, action and the best essential ingredients to savour the tastes of family audiences…”
Speaking about his co-stars, Sivakarthikeyan says, “Rather than claiming them with words like ‘Wonderful Experience’, I would consider the entire process of ‘Seemaraja ’ as moments of treasury. Especially, to work with senior actors like Napoleon sir, Simran madam, Lal Sir and so on, I was just in admiration about the efficient performance and yet attributed with down-to-earth nature. In fact, I have stolen some of such traits from them, which I believe that upcoming generation of actors definitely need to posses for being successful in the industry.”
Getting on with unconditional praises upon Samantha, he smilingly cites, “She started preparing for the role even before I got completely involved. To be a heroine with her calendars filled with back to back projects, I was surprised to see that she took more enough time for preparing her role, which includes mastering Silambam.”
“The title Seemaraja might be a fictional projection of my character, but this title in reality should be conferred on our producer RD Raja. It might sound like a superlative adjective, but it is the fact, where he could have easily sprawled out and relaxed. But he was vigilant and available even for the petty things to ensure that the project doesn’t get stalled anywhere. Or else, it would have been a difficult thing for entire team to complete and release the film as promised for Vinayagar Chathurthi despites a month long Kollywood strike,” says Sivakarthikeyan.
