VELAMMAL WINS GOLD IN
REPUBLIC DAY GAMES
The U-17- Throwball girls team of
Velammal Main School, Mogappair campus won the trophy and gold medals as they
emerged victorious in the finals by defeating Karur district team with a score
of 15-2, 15-5 in the 62nd Republic Day Games 2019-20 at T.V.S
Lakshmi, Mat.Hr.Sec.School,Madurai organized by the Government of School
Education, Tamil Nadu held between 5th January and 7th January
2020.
The team has emerged victorious among 32 teams and has bagged gold medals
for the 4th year.
