Master Murali Dharan V, Class 8 of  Velammal Main School, Mogappair campus bagged  the  2^nd place in  Table Tennis in the U-14 singles category with a cash prize of Rs. 1000, certificate and silver medal in the Republic Day Games 2019-20

organized by the Government of School Education, Tamil Nadu  held at  Adhiyamaan Engineering College, Hosur recently. 

He played against Sanjay Madhavan from SBOA  Mat. Hr. Sec. School, Madurai  in the finals  with a score of 2-3.

The School Management applauds him on his remarkable feat.

       Miss Ravilla Kumar Kirthi, Class 7 of Velammal Main School Mogappair Campus clinched the first place in Lawn Tennis in U-14 singles category with a score of 8-0 in the Republic Day Games 2019-2020 held at SDAT, Krishnagiri.

       This event was organised by the Government of School Education, Tamil Nadu  recently.

Participants from various  districts across Tamil Nadu took part in the State level games.

The School Management congratulates her spectacular achievement.

VELAMMAL’s  BASKETBALL  WINS GOLD IN REPUBLIC DAY GAMES
       The U-14 Basketball  boys team of Velammal Main School, Mogappair campus won the gold medals and the merit certificates as they emerged victorious in the finals by defeating PSG  Sarvajana School,  Coimbatore with a score of 52-40 in the Republic Day Games 

2019-20 at Adhiyamaan College of Engineering, Hosur Organized by the Government of School Education, Tamil Nadu held between 3rd February and 7th February 2020. 

The team has emerged victorious among  32- teams.

       The U-14 Throwball girls team of Velammal Main School, Mogappair campus won the gold medals and the merit certificates as they emerged victorious in the finals by defeating Tirunelveli District team with a score of 8-15 in the first set and 15-10 in the second and 15 - 12 third set in the Republic Day Games 2019-20 at PMC College of Engineering Krishnagiri  Organized by the Government of School Education, Tamil Nadu held between 3rd February and 5th February, 2020. The team has emerged victorious among  32 teams.

          Velammal Main school Throwball  team becomes the first  ever team in Tamil Nadu to win Gold Medal in all three categories in RDG( U-14), RDG (U-17) and BDG ( U-19) .

       The U-17- Throwball girls  team of Velammal Main School, Mogappair campus won the trophy and gold medals as they emerged victorious in the finals by defeating Karur district team with a score of  15-2, 15-5 in the  62^nd Republic Day Games 2019-20 at T.V.S Lakshmi, Mat.Hr.Sec.School,Madurai organized by the Government of School Education, Tamil Nadu held between 5^th January and 7^th January 2020. 

The team has emerged victorious among 32 teams and has bagged gold medals for the 4^th year.
