A New Initiative on Women Empowerment ANBU Health Cards

 *A New Initiative on Women Empowerment  ANBU Health Cards "She First" launched by Dr. Mariazeena Johnson & Actress Samantha at Sathyabama Deemed tobe University.*







Sathyabama Institute of science and technology has proudly launched a new initiative on women empowerment " ANBU" on 5th May, 2024. 


Dr.Mariazeena Johnson, Chancellor of the Institution had led this campaign of safeguarding women health by distributing  Sathyabama’s  ANBU Health Cards to women staff, girl students and women  in public life. Welcome note was given by Ms.Maria Bernedette Tamilarasi, Vice Present and  highlights of this initiative was shared by Ms. Catherine Johnson, Vice president. 


 In Chancellor’s Presidential address, she insisted that taking care of self health is the most important aspect for every women to help her in continuing as the foundation of her family. Hinting this initiative as an effort made by her to reach out to the heart of every women and highlighted this initiative’s focus on promoting wellbeing among women, underling its potential to significantly impact womens’ lives positively. She encouraged all the daughters not only be their father’s princess but also mother’s warriors. She added that " Healthy woman makes the family healthy and happy always". She also made key observations on possible self health progress monitoring measures and shared various welfare activities for women taken by the institution.


Ms. Samantha, a renowned Indian actress and guest of honour for this event, felt happy to associate herself to the Sathyabama family and congratulated this initiative. She stated that “Women put themselves last and think that it is selfish to think about themselves”. So an  awareness of wellness in health is essential and the statistics of women health at present is much concerning, she stated. Ms. Samantha also believed that  Sathyabama’s  ANBU health card, Sathyabama’s initiative will make a positive impact in women health not just here, but across the Nation.
