இயக்குநர் மணிரத்னம் தயாரிக்கும் 'வானம் கொட்டட்டும்' படத்தின் முதல் பார்வை போஸ்டர் இன்று வெளியீடு.

குடும்ப உறவுகளை மையப்படுத்தியும், குடும்ப உறவுகளுக்கு முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுத்தும் ஏராளமான படங்கள் வந்திருக்கின்றன. இருப்பினும், விக்ரம் பிரபு நாயகனாக நடிக்க, தனா இயக்கும் 'வானம் கொட்டட்டும்' படம் சற்றே வித்தியாசமாக குடும்ப உறவுகளைக் கொண்டாடும் படமாக உருவாகி வருகிறது. விக்ரம் பிரபுவிற்கு தங்கையாக ஐஸ்வர்யா ராஜேஷ் நடிக்க, இருவருக்கும் பெற்றோராக சரத்குமார் மற்றும் ராதிகா சரத்குமார் நடிக்கிறார்கள். மடோனா செபாஸ்டியன் முக்கிய பாத்திரத்தில் தோன்றுகிறார். இவர்களுடன் நந்தா, சாந்தனு, அமித்ஷா பிரதான் மற்றும் பலரும் நடிக்கிறார்கள்.

இப்படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்பு தமிழ்நாட்டின் சுற்று பகுதிகளில் மட்டுமே நடத்தப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.

சில தினங்களுக்கு முன் இப்படத்தின் தலைப்பு லோகோ முதல் பார்வை வெளியிட்ட நிலையில், இன்று காலை 11 மணிக்கு முதல் பார்வை போஸ்டர் வெளியிடப்படுகிறது. இதை தொடர்ந்து பாடல் சின்கிள் டிராக், இரண்டாவது பாடல் மற்றும் பாடல் வெளியீட்டு விழா என ஒவ்வொன்றாக விரைவில் வெளியிடப்படும். 2020 ஜனவரியில் இப்படம் வெளியிட முடிவு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளதால் இறுதி கட்ட பணிகள் முழுவீச்சில் நடைபெற்றுக் கொண்டிருக்கிறது.

Nithra to launch exclusive mobile app to monitor sleep disorders

Nithra Institute of Sleep Sciences (Nithra TM), India’s first free standing comprehensive sleep centre is launching an exclusive mobile app to monitor sleep disorders and treatment status.

Powered by its mission to ‘help people sleep better’, to educate about the seriousness of this issue and to reach out to the masses, celebrities like Director Mani Ratnam, Suhasini Mani Ratnam, Actor Prasanna and Sneha Prasanna have agreed to grace the event with their soulful presence, which is happening today the 06 July 2019, at Anna Lakshmi Restaurant (Swayamvara Hall), Spur Tank Road, Chetpet from 07.00 pm onwards.

Nithra is equipped with the state-of-the-art technology and facilities to monitor the sleep disorders like lack of sleep, excessive day time sleeping, restless leg, drowsy driving and snoring.  It has several firsts to its credit, right from its Director Dr. N. Ramakrishnan being the first ‘American Board Certified Sleep Specialist’ to practice in India, to the one of its kind facility to receive Quality Accreditation from National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare(NABL), to first to be accredited for a Post Doctoral Fellowship program in Sleep Medicine from in affiliation with Dr. MGR Medical University, and a recognition from World Sleep Society for its distinguished activities and consistent follow up in creating the much needed awareness in the community.

This App launch event is also planned to be a musical evening with melodies being rendered by Deepak Subrahmanyam and Priyanka, Super Singers.

Siragu soars as Oscar winner A R Rahman releases its teaser

Writers are those, who, through just a line of theirs, can generate both grief and great joy.  So, it is only natural that when people get to know that a writer has turned director, expectations from the film rise.

This is exactly why Siragu, a film written and directed by poetess Kutty Revathy, has now huge expectations riding on it.

It may be recalled that ace director Mani Ratnam had only recently released the promo video of the song ‘Thanimai Siraginile’ from this film. The promo, which had class stamped all over it,  was testimony to the quality of the film and had come in for much appreciation from across various segments of the society.

Now, the film’s journey has reached its next destination with Oscar winner A R Rahman releasing its teaser. Like the promo video, this teaser too is garnering a lot of attention.

Produced by Mala Manian on behalf of First Copy Production, the film has music by Arrol Corelli. The music seems to have breathed life into the story that is the crux of the film.

Hari Krishnan,  whose performances in Madras, Kabali, Vadachennai and Sandai Kozhi 2,  came in for much appreciation, is the hero of the film. Akshitha, who is well versed in dance and yoga, plays the female lead in the film, which will also feature Nivas Adhithyan,  Dr Vidya and Kaali Venkat in important roles.  

Raja Bhattacharjee, who proved his skills with the camera in Pyaar, Prema, Kadhal, is the cinematographer of Siragu. Arun Kumar V S has handled its editing.

This film’s story and visuals are bound to take viewers on a journey that is sure to provide them a welcome break from the mechanical lives that they lead!
