*Recording of a heart-touching song for Thankar Bachan’s Karumegangal Kalaiginrana*

A beautiful song composed by GV Prakash, and written by Kaviperarasu Vairamuthu for Thankar Bachan’s directorial was recorded with Chitra crooning it. 

Lyricist Vairamuthu, who penned the song ‘Poojaikettha Poovidhu’ with Chitra’s vocal 39 years ago says, “Same Voice! Same Kindness! Same Humility!” 

 

Sharing insights about the song, Director Thankar Bachan said, “My debut film as a cinematographer titled ‘Malaicchaaral’ (1990) had a song written by Vairamuthu and crooned by Chitra. We are again collaborating for my forthcoming directorial “Karumegangal Kalaiginrana’. I am extremely happy to see that the three of us are still actively working in the movie industry.”
