Actor Vijay Sethupathi & director Mysskin have launched the first look of ‘Demon’, a suspense-thriller laced with horror elements, is presented by National Award-winning filmmaker Vasantha Balan and is produced by R. Somasundaram of Window Boys Pictures. 

Debut filmmaker Ramesh Pazhaniivel, who earlier worked as assistant director in movies like Angaadi Theru, Aravaan, Kaviya Thalaivan, Jail, Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara, and Kashmora, embarks on his directorial venture with ‘Demon’. Apart from direction, he has written this film's story, screenplay, and dialogues as well. 

Ronnie Raphael, who won appreciation for his spellbinding musical score in Mohanlal’s National award-winning movie “Maraikkayar” is composing music for this movie, which features lyrics by Karthik Netha. 

R.S. Ananda Kumar (Prabhu Deva’s Gulaebhagavali & Jyothika’s Jackpot fame) is handling cinematography for this movie. 

The film’s story is based on a real-life incident, and the screenplay is crafted with engrossing ingredients that will impress audiences from all walks of life. Films based on the Horror-Suspense-Thriller genre have appealed to the interests of universal audiences across the years when presented with an engaging screenplay. Movies like Pizza, Ratchasan, Pisasu, and many movies have been perfect examples. ‘Demon’ is crafted with the amalgamation of all these elements together laced with emotional content and presented with an engrossing package. 

Actor Sachin, who played the protagonist in ‘Beginning’, presented by director N, Lingusamy is performing the lead character in this movie. Abarnathi, who shot to fame for her outstanding performance in GV Prakash Kumar’s ‘Jail’, directed by Vasantha Balan, and later won appreciation & awards for her acting in ‘Thaen’ is playing the female lead in this movie. It is noteworthy that her performance in the recent OTT series ‘Undanpaal’ streaming on Aha Tamil has won her great reviews. 

Kumki Ashwin, Instagram sensation Raveena Daha, Bigg Boss fame Shruthi Periyasamy, Mippusamy, Prabhakaran, Abhishek, Tharani,  Navya suji, Saleema, and others have performed as pivotal characters in this movie. 

Demon, laced with riveting screenplay and new-fangled visual composition, will be soon offering a new wholesome theatrical experience for audiences. Following this movie, Window Boys Pictures is planning to collaborate with debut filmmakers for many projects, which will have the official announcement made soon.
