*Urvashi and Joju George Lead "Aasha"; Aishwarya Lekshmi Joins the Cast – Shoot Begins with Pooja Ceremony*
The upcoming multilingual film "Aasha", which brings together two of Malayalam cinema's most celebrated actors, Urvashi and Joju George, commenced filming with a traditional pooja ceremony held at the Thrikkakkara Vamana Moorthy Temple. The inaugural lamp was lit by Joju George, cinematographer Madhu Neelakandan, and director Safar Sanal. Joju George gave the first clap, while Madhu Neelakandan handled the switch-on.
Joining the stellar cast are Vijayaraghavan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, and "Pani" movie fame Ramesh Girija in key roles. The film is set to be released in five Indian languages, underscoring its pan-Indian appeal.
The title-look poster of "Aasha" was also unveiled during the ceremony, sparking interest among film enthusiasts.
Presented by Ajith Vinayaka Films, the film is produced by Vinayaka Ajith. "Aasha" marks the directorial debut of Safar Sanal, who also pens the story. The screenplay and dialogues are jointly written by Joju George, Ramesh Girija, and Safar Sanal.
