The film’s first look poster last week instantly caught the attention of Tamil Nadu, evoking the heroic aura of legends like Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, and Tony Jaa. Social media went abuzz overnight, with students at SRM College, where Tharun Vijay is a popular figure, enthusiastically sharing the poster and generating excitement for the film, which is releasing tomorrow (August 29, 2025). 

Son of a pediatrician from Thiruvallur, Tharun Vijay moved to Chennai and stayed in a rented mansion, just like any newcomer chasing dreams in a big city. He faced challenges like any outsider and finally honed his craft with perseverance and passion. For Kuttram Pudhithu, Tharun Vijay meticulously studied gorilla body language for three months to authentically portray his character’s psychotic traits, impressing early preview audiences. Many have already hailed him as a potential Best Debut Male Actor award-winner.

“I love cinema from my childhood and I’ve always dreamed of acting in films. My biggest dream is to share screen space with my matinee idol, Kamal Haasan sir,” says Tharun Vijay, reflecting both his passion and humility.
