 Director KS Ravikumar's next Production Venture 'Hit List' starring Director Vikraman's son Vijay Kanishka commences shoot with pooja today. 

'Hit List' is the third production of RK Celluloids after Tenali and Google Kuttappa. Veteran director Vikraman's son Vijay Kanishka will make his acting debut through this film. The launch and pooja of the film, was held today in the presence of prominent film celebrities and Press Media.

 Director Vikraman, who created a new history in Tamil cinema with 'Pudhu Vasantham', is launching his son Vijay Kanishka as an actor in the film industry. Director KS Ravikumar is producing the film as a commercial action film under his home banner RK Celluloids. The film will also mark the directional debut of Sooryakathir and Karthikeyan, who had formerly assisted Director KS Ravikumar on various projects.

 *Pendulum – A new-fangled psychological fantasy thriller kick-starts shooting with a ritual ceremony* 

The shooting of ‘Pendulum’, a new-fangled psychological fantasy thriller, produced by Thiraviyam Bala of Surya Indrajit Films and directed by debutant B.Sathish Kumaran featuring Ammu Abhirami and Komal Sharma as the lead characters commenced this morning (August 31, 2022) with a ritual ceremony. 

Over the years, Tamil cinema has witnessed the arrival of movies based on psychological thrillers, but ‘Pendulum’ will be a unique one, which is created with a never-seen-before concept, interwoven with the new-dimensional appealing screenplay. 

Asuran fame Ammu Abhirami and Komal Sharma are playing the lead characters alongside Sripathy, Sree Kumar, T.S.K., Vijith, FIR Ram, Ram Jr. MGR, Prem Kumar, Gajaraj, and Chaams. This is the first-ever time, 8 actors will be seen playing the titular characters in a thriller movie made with the first-of-its-kind screenplay.

 

B.Sathish Kumaran, who has worked behind the camera for 20 years and as a cinematographer in short films and feature films that have garnered many International awards, is making his directorial debut with this film. It is noteworthy that he worked as a making cameraman in director Shankar's film "I".

The team is planning to shoot the film in fresh locations in Chennai, Talakkonam, Kurnool district in Andhra Pradesh, and Goa, where no movies have been shot before. The shooting commenced with a simple ritual ceremony that was attended by eminent personalities from the movie industry and crewmembers of the movie.

Vijay Sethupathi as Vaathiyaar & Soori as protagonist starrer ‘Viduthalai’ to release in two parts 

RS Infotainment Producer Eldred Kumar’s upcoming production ‘Viduthalai’, directed by Vetrimaaran, featuring Vijay Sethupathi as Vaathiyaar and Soori protagonist in the titular roles, gets huge as the movie will release in two different parts. What’s going to be a huge Midas-touch is Red Giant Movies Udhayanidhi Stalin presenting both – Viduthalai-1 & Viduthalai-2. The project has retained its substantiality and prominence from the time of its announcement. Naturally, with the impressive star cast and technical crew, the movie fetched more attention among the film industry and general audiences as well. Now, the production house officially confirms that Viduthalai will be released in two parts. 

Currently, the shooting of Viduthalai-1 is already completed and postproduction work is happening in full swing. Only few portions have to be filmed to wrap up the shooting of Viduthalai-2, which is currently staged in  Sirumalai & Kodaikannal. 

Viduthalai franchise is produced at a whopping budget and will be one among the league of big-budgeted movies currently made in Tamil cinema.

The film’s grandeur has been generating a strong buzz, especially for its brilliant and magnificent set work that includes the recent set erection of 10-Cr worth train and Railway Bridge. The train compartments as well as the bridge were constructed exactly with the same materials used in the manufacturing of original bridge & train. Earlier, the art department headed by Jackie had erected a huge village set in Sirumalai. 

According to the makers of Viduthalai, it has an intense story that needs proper storytelling to make sure that it appeals to the interests of audiences. Hence, the idea of materializing it in two different parts came into existence, and the movie is shaping up successfully as planned by the team. 

Currently, the preparations for shooting a breath-taking action sequence between Vijay Sethupathi and Soori is scheduled in Kodaikannal. With Peter Hein choreographing the action sequence, a group of proficient stunt team from Bulgaria, who have already arrived in Tamil Nadu will be a part of this action block.  

The star cast of Viduthalai includes Vijay Sethupathi, Soori, Bhavani Sre, Prakash Raj, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Rajeev Menon, Chethan and many prominent actors are a part of this star cast. Maestro Isaignani is composing music for Viduthalai, which features cinematography by Velraj.
