 Mahindra Auto Registers growth of 91% in passenger vehicle sales; Overall sales at 42983 vehicles in July 2021

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M Ltd.), one of India’s leading automotive companies, today announced that its overall auto sales (passenger vehicles + commercial vehicles + exports) for the month of July 2021 stood at 42983 vehicles

In the Utility Vehicles segment, Mahindra sold 20797 vehicles in July 2021. The Passenger Vehicles segment (which includes UVs, Cars and Vans) sold 21046 vehicles in July 2021. Exports for the month of July 2021 were at 2123 vehicles

According to Veejay Nakra, Chief Executive Officer, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd.,”More than 90% of our dealerships and workshops are now operational across the country. We have seen significant increase in activity levels, enquiries and as a result, sales across our product portfolio. We sold 42983 vehicles overall and registered a growth of 91% in the Passenger Vehicles segment, over same period last year. While supply of semiconductors continues to be a global issue and we are doing everything to address it on priority, July has been an exciting month for us with two new product launches. We launched the Bolero Neo for the new age customer’s looking for a tough, powerful, go-anywhere authentic SUV. We also launched the Supro Profittruck range of SCV’s offering guaranteed higher mileage and payload and have on-boarded Ajay Devgn as the brand ambassador. Both launches have received very positive initial response and we are confident of building on this in the coming months.”

The Product Range & Financing Support

The new range of SUPRO PROFIT TRUCK is developed on the successful SUPRO platform. It is affordable, more powerful, boasts of a greater payload capacity and higher mileage that assures higher profit to the customers. The SUPRO PROFIT TRUCK range comes in both diesel as well as CNG fuel options and provides class-leading mileage and performance even at maximum loads, thereby promising supreme comfort and convenience. SUPRO PROFIT TRUCK also, provides customers with powerful AC and a mobile charging point along with a class-leading warranty of 3 years/80,000km (whichever is earlier).

The SUPRO PROFIT TRUCK also brings in very attractive finance options where customers can avail loan tenure of up to 5 years and lesser IRR, starting from 12.99% onwards, which helps in lowering EMI for customers. The customers can also avail of up to 100% loan on SUPRO PROFIT TRUCK.

 Mahindra Auto Sector sells 32964 vehicles in June 2021 

 

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M Ltd.), one of India’s leading automotive companies, today announced that its overall auto sales (passenger vehicles + commercial vehicles + exports) for the month of June 2021 stood at 32964 vehicles.

 

In the Utility Vehicles segment, Mahindra sold 16636 vehicles in June 2021. The Passenger Vehicles segment (which includes UVs, Cars and Vans) sold 16913 vehicles in June 2021. Exports for the month of June 2021 were at 2607 vehicles.

 

According to Veejay Nakra, Chief Executive Officer, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd., “With the opening up of the market in a phased manner, we are seeing a boost in demand in both urban and rural and we expect the upward trend in demand to continue across all segments and markets. As we come out of the second wave of the pandemic, by and large our supply chain has stabilized except for the global semiconductor issue, which still continues to be a challenge that we are addressing as top priority”.
