இயக்குனர் ஸ்ரீஜித் விஜயன் இயக்கத்தில் தயாராகி வரும் சைக்கலாஜிக்கல் த்ரில்லர் திரைப்படமான 'ஷெரோ'  படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்பு நிறைவடைந்தது. இதனை படத்தின் கதையின் நாயகியான நடிகை சன்னிலியோன் மற்றும் இயக்குனர் ஸ்ரீஜித் இருவரும் இணைந்து அறிவித்திருக்கிறார்கள்.

இதுதொடர்பாக இயக்குனர் ஸ்ரீஜித் விஜயன் பேசுகையில்,' ஷெரோ, ஒரு சைக்கலாஜிக்கல் திரில்லர் ஜானரில்  உருவாகியிருக்கும் திரைப்படம். இந்தப் படத்தில் சாரா மைக் என்ற கதாபாத்திரத்தில் அமெரிக்காவில் வாழும் இந்திய வம்சாவளியைச் சேர்ந்த பெண்ணாக நடிகை சன்னி லியோன் நடிக்கிறார். விடுமுறையை கழிப்பதற்காக அமெரிக்காவிலிருந்து இந்தியாவுக்கு வருகை தருகிறார். இங்கு அவர் எதிர்கொள்ளும் சம்பவங்கள் தான் படத்தின் கதை. சைக்காலஜிக்கல் திரில்லர் படமாக இருந்தாலும், இந்த படத்தில் ஆக்ஷன் காட்சிகளுக்கும் முக்கியத்துவம் உண்டு. இதற்காக நடிகை சன்னிலியோன் கடுமையாக பயிற்சி செய்து, உரிய பாதுகாப்புடன் நடித்தார். மூணாறு மற்றும் கேரளாவின் பல்வேறு பகுதிகளில் இப்படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்பு நடைபெற்றது. இந்தப் படம் ஒரே நேரத்தில் தமிழ், மலையாளம், ஹிந்தி, கன்னடம், மற்றும் தெலுங்கு மொழிகளில் தயாராகிறது. இதன் படப்பிடிப்பு அண்மையில் நிறைவடைந்தது. இப்படத்தில் கதையின் நாயகியாக நடித்திருக்கும் நடிகை சன்னி லியோனின் கடுமையான உழைப்பு குறித்து குறிப்பிடாமல் இருக்க இயலாது. படப்பிடிப்பு நிறைவடைந்த போது ஒட்டு மொத்த படக்குழுவினருக்கும் உணர்ச்சிகரமான தருணமாக அமைந்தது. இதுதொடர்பாக நடிகை சன்னி லியோன் பேசுகையில்,' ஷெரோ போன்ற சவாலான கதாபாத்திரங்களில் நடிக்கவே விரும்புகிறேன். இந்தப் படத்தின் மூலமாக பல மொழிகளையும், நடிப்பின் வேறு பரிமாணங்களையும் கற்றுக்கொள்ள முடிந்தது. கேரளாவின் அழகியல் சார்ந்த இடங்களில் படப்பிடிப்பு நடைபெற்றது. என்னுடைய கலைப் பயணத்தில் நான் நடித்த சுவராசியமான படங்களில் ஷெரோவும் ஒன்று. சண்டைக்காட்சிகளில் நடிக்கும்போது படக்குழுவினர் முழுமையான ஒத்துழைப்பை வழங்கினர்.' என்றார்.

படப்பிடிப்பு நிறைவடைந்தது என்பதை  குறிப்பிடும் வகையில் கதையின் நாயகியான நடிகை சன்னி லியோனும், இயக்குனர் ஸ்ரீஜித் விஜயனும் கையில் கிளாப் போர்டு ஒன்றை வைத்துக்கொண்டு அதில் படப்பிடிப்பு நிறைவு என குறிப்பிட்டு, அதை புகைப்படமாக எடுத்து சமூக வலைதள பக்கத்தில் பதிவேற்றிருக்கிறார்கள்.

The director of Sunny Leone’s multi-lingual Shero - Sreejith Vijayan - in a recent interview couldn’t stop raving about her hard work in the film. It’s thus no surprise that when the actress recently wrapped the film, it was an emotional moment for the whole unit. The film is simultaneously being made in Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi, Kannada, and Telugu recently finished its principal shooting. Sunny took to social media to announce the film’s wrap with a clapboard, posing with Sreejith.  

The film is a psychological thriller that has Sunny play the character of Sarah Mike, US-born woman with roots in India. The film traces the story of a chance holiday and the chance happenings on it forms the narrative. It’s a psychological thriller which Sunny shoulders single handedly with her performance. Action is another crucial element of the film and for it, the actress trained and prepped extensively, doing all the stunts by herself.

Shot in Munnar and other parts of Kerala, Sunny believes it’s a defining part for her. As she wrapped the film, she tells us, “There are movies that  challenge you and make you want to push yourself harder. Shero is just that film for me. I wanted to nail it to the tee. From the performance, to the action, to learning the language, it was a film that I was completely consumed by. We shot in such picturesque locales of Kerala and it is by far one of the most interesting films I have ever done in my life.”

Mumbai, 27^th September 2018: After the success of recent originals like Karenjit Kaur – The Untold Story of Sunny Leone, Lockdown, Akoori, Lal Bahadur Shastri's Death - An Unfinished Story among others, ZEE5 - India’s largest and most comprehensive digital entertainment platform for language content is set to stream Khaar. A docudrama on Mahatma Gandhi’s significant Dandi March to Dandi, Khaar will premiere on 2^nd October exclusively on ZEE5.

While a lot has been said about Mahatma Gandhi’s contribution to India’s independence, not too many people know that he often had to face opposition even from his close aides from the Indian National Congress. The idea for the salt satyagraha had been his brain child and one that changed the course of our independence struggle; yet it didn’t have the popular support within the Congress. But, Gandhiji pressed on with the belief that he was on the right path. Khaar unfolds the many challenges that Gandhiji faced before initiating the Dandi March, and triggering the most dramatic chain of events that led to India’s independence.

The docudrama features Surendra Rajan as Mahatma Gandhi, Sanjay Gurbaxani as Nehru, Amit Singh Thakur as Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Tarakesh Chauhan as Maulana Azad.  To give the audience an immersive experience, the show has Annu Kapoor lending his voice as a narrator.

‘Commando 3’ To Go On Floors In September

We had reported that Aditya Datt, known for directing ‘Table No. 21’ and web series ‘Karenjit Kaur: The Untold Story Of Sunny Leone’, is also helming the third film in the ‘Commando’ series starring Vidyut Jammwal and we have some fresh update about it.

A little birdie whispered in our ears that the action thriller, which will be bigger and better than the prequels, is slated to go on floors in September end in London. Apart from Vidyut, ‘Commando 3’ will also star Adah Sharma, Angira Dhar and Gulshan Devaiah. We have also learned that the film will hit screens in the second half of 2019.

The first Commando, which came out in 2013, introduced Vidyut Jammwal and was an immense hit, courtesy its spectacular action sequences. However, the sequel ‘Commando 2’ scraped through at the box-office despite a bigger cast and canvas but this time, hopes are high as Aditya is taking up the reins of the third film.

‘Commando 3’ is being presented by Reliance Entertainment and produced by Vipul Shah.
