HomeFirst launches #HomeFirstKeHeroes Campaign to celebrate armed forces veterans on Independence Day

HomeFirst Finance has started celebrations for the 75th Independence Day. HomeFirst has launched a week-long campaign ‘HomeFirst ke Heroes’. Keeping it as the central idea, the campaign is aimed to honour and recognize the selfless service of armed forces veterans in shaping India as we see it today. Starting from 9th August leading up to the climactic finale on 15th August. As safety norms are a priority, the majority of the events are being conducted digitally.





 

The marquee event of the campaign is a series of LIVE sessions on the HomeFirst Instagram page where customers from all over the country who have served in the Indian Armed Forces are invited to share stories and incidents from their past. Enthusiastic crowds from across the globe join to view the session hosted by Instagram influencer and budding actor Retd. Maj. Rudrashish Majumder. Taking the spirit of heroism one step further HomeFirst Instagram and Facebook pages has also introduced a contest called ‘HomeFirst ke Jaanbaaz’ to recognize and reward instances of selflessness and bravery portrayed by people in their everyday lives. Engaging activities like Quiz about India’s Freedom Journey and Freedom Fighters Filters have also been introduced to raise awareness about the momentous occasion through a fun take on it.

Speaking about the Independence Week celebration, Chief Marketing Officer Gaurav Mohta added, “We wanted to take this opportunity to honour and raise awareness about the armed forces and provide them a platform to share their learnings and experiences. They truly are the heroes of the nation and we are proud to be associated with them.”

Samsung, India’s largest and most trusted consumer electronics brand, has launched an Augmented Reality (AR) filter on Instagram and Facebook that will allow people to virtually experience how Samsung’s much loved lifestyle TV, The Frame would look in their homes. 

AR filter will allow consumers to virtually experience The Frame in their living space by simply pointing their phone camera in any part of their home and also select different bezel and artwork options, check dimensions and match it with the space and décor. The AR filter makes it easy for consumers to explore and discover Samsung products from the comfort of their homes and make informed purchase decisions, without stepping out of their homes.

To further increase engagement and excitement with consumers, Samsung has launched a new contest that allows four lucky contest participants to win The Frame by following a few simple steps. While using the AR filter on Instagram or Facebook, participants need to virtually place The Frame in their home environment, select a bezel of their choice, choose an artwork from the options provided or select one of their own and click a screenshot of the AR filter and post it on their respective social media, tagging Samsung India. The contest is live and will end on September 9, 2021. Four lucky winners will be announced on September 27, 2021.

After the launch of Samsung’s AR Demo for The Serif lifestyle TV and SpaceMax Family Hub™ refrigerator, The Frame AR filter on social media is a new addition to the to enhance the user experience.

~ Yoga practitioners will conduct live sessions from Taj Fisherman’s Cove in Chennai, Taj Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad and Taj Rishikesh Resort & Spa from June 19-21, 2020
Jiva, the award winning wellness brand from IHCL has curated a one-of-a-kind yoga series for its guests and followers this International Yoga Day. Celebrating Indian wellness traditions, professional yoga practitioners will showcase holistic healing techniques through a three-part virtual wellness series taking place from 19th to 21st JuneThese experts will take guests through the principles of Ashtanga Yoga – the Eight Limbs of Yoga. Focusing on physical, mental and spiritual well-being, the virtual sessions will be live streamed from some of the most stunning Taj hotels across the country.


The soulful and tranquil ambience of the beach at Taj Fisherman’s Cove makes an ideal location to demonstrate the first few principles of Ashtanga Yoga, focussing on physical well-being. This will be streamed on the 19th of June 2020. Dr. Rajneesh, Ayurveda Physician and trained Yoga expert, will give guests an introduction to Ashtanga Yoga, followed by a discourse on Yama and Niyama and a demonstration of the Pawan Mukta series.
The next part of the series will take place on 20th June at the magnificent Taj Falaknuma Palace. Perched 2,000 feet above the city of Hyderabad, Taj Falaknuma exudes romance and grandeur, blending together colonial and Indian designs with a piece of history. As part of the session, National Gold Medallist in Yoga, Sandeep, will focus on mental well-being, introducing and demonstrating Pranayama, while hosting a discourse on Pratyahara.
The live sessions will conclude on 21st June in Rishikesh, the ‘Yoga Capital of the World’, at the Taj Rishikesh Resort & Spa. Located by the banks of the holy Ganga and at the foothills of the Himalayas, the hotel is the perfect location to celebrate International Yoga Day. The last session on spiritual well-being will be hosted by Yoga instructor, Kapil Kumar, who will briefly introduce Dharana and Dhyana, before moving on to meditating on the banks of the Ganga. The three-part series will end with a Ganga Aarti.
